Coconut flower nectar is the nutrient rich sap from the coconut flower. It can be used as a healthy sweetener, as an alternative to sugar, stevia, xylitol and agave. It has a beautiful sweet taste, rich and caramel, almost toffee like. It is a whole food unrefined sweetener that is sustainably harvested (from the right source). Nectar has a low glycaemic index of 35 (most commercial honeys are GI 55 and cane sugar GI 68) and is mineral rich, containing 17 amino acids, potassium, magnesium, zinc, iron and more.
