Our beautiful rich and decadent Cacao Butter is made by cold pressing Cacao Nibs to preserve the full vitality of the cacao bean. This process separates the thick and creamy butter from the fibrous powder. Low temperature processing ensures that quality standards are met, and no chemicals or solvents are ever used in the process.
Cacao Butter is an excellent source of healthy omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids, and also contains natural antioxidants, as well as nutrients that support mood and the immune system. High is vitamin E, cacao butter has traditionally been used as a rich natural moisturiser; as a sexy and decadent massage oil; for soothing babies sore bottoms; in organic cosmetics like lipstick and lip balm, and in luxury soap making.
Also use instead of butter on toast, or add to raw foods to give a delicious rich white chocolatey flavour - think bliss balls, chocolates, ice creams, and also smoothies and desserts.
The butter is generally solid in most climates but melts at about 35ºC. This makes it a very stable and versatile fat!
